If money is a concern, most towns/cities have traditional lumber yard and surplus / overbuy stores which no one knows exist because they're off the beaten track. They are a much better deal plus a hell of a lot more fun than standing behind some stupid ugly person at Home Depot who can't decide between 2 shades of beige paint.
