Show me another »Closet too long... But i want a rod all the way across. However, the rods dont ship long enough (75 inches)?
Im redoing my closet and its too long. I want a rod all the way across (on the wall) and wood shelving right above.. The rods don't ship in a size long enough (75 inches) so i'm not sure if I should buy two seperate ones and meet them in the middle or what

If your closet isn't too deep, use the L-brackets that have the hook in front for the rod. The bracket also holds up the shelf. Place brackets where needed so two rods can be used to achieve the length you need. Good luck.

- look for telescoping rods. they will come in about 60 inches and stretch out to like 110 inches. tmm0% 0 Votes
- Go and buy the white wire shelving from Lowes They will cut it as long as you want it and the shelf will double as a hanging rod. You can put stuff on top and there is a rail along the bottom to hang clothes on.0% 0 Votes
- you take two rods and you can try narrowing one rod's end and carve a similarly sized hole on the end of the other rod.
you carve them so they have a tight fit, power tools work great for this.
make the hole and carved ends about 2 inches long/deep and connect them with a strong wood glue, I did this before and it's still working to this day.0% 0 Votes
