A Woodworking Table Plan is a Must!

Building a wood table can be fun and enjoyable IF you have a woodworking table plan to accompany you! How many times have you started on a project and felt really excited? It happens to me all the time. I am super excited about it until...I get halfway through and I want to throw it away! It is not because I do not know what I am doing, but I just do not have the right knowledge to do it right!

This is where a woodworking table plan comes in.

If you have the right wookworking table plan, you should know the following UPFRONT -

1. How much it is going to cost you! I do not know about you, but every project I do ends up costing me at least double what I originally thought!

2. What tools you are going to need to complete the projet. There is nothing more frustrating to me than having to go to the store AGAIN because I do not have the right tool for the job.

3. What your table is going to look like when you are done. I have done this before too! I have an idea what I want the end product to look like. When it is done though, it looks like a shell of what I wanted it to.

4. How long the project should last. Tying in with #1, I always think I can get a project done in two days. Then a week rolls around and I am not ever halfway done!

A woodworking table plan is more than just instructions. For me, it is like insight into the future! Ok, that sounds strange, but it is true! I know what I need how much it is going to cost me, how much time to complete it and what it is going to look like!
